In a rural community, it is vitally important to have quick access to Emergency Medical Services. To help make this a reality in Hardin County, this hospital has dedicated years to building an advanced Emergency Medical System that meets the unique needs of our community that depends on us. This advanced Emergency System begins with potentially life saving pre-hospital care from highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians, EMTs, and Paramedics, and extends to the quality care provided by Hardin Medical Center's Emergency Department. Hardin Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
From the moment patients come through our doors and are seen by our triage nurse, they receive quality medical care in a private and efficient manner. We also believe that a patient's family and loved ones are an important part of the patient's healing process. Whenever possible, family members will be able to stay with the patient during treatment to provide comfort and helpful information.
