Surgical/Medical Services
Our nursing staff provides a caring touch and skilled competence to all our patients. We provide that personal touch because our patients are special to us. The hospital is staffed around the clock with registered nurses(RN), licensed practical nurses(LPN), and certified nursing assistants(CNA). Our staff will help you learn how to manage your illness. They'll provide education at your bedside and answer the many questions you may have. Whatever your need, you'll receive quality nursing care in a warm and friendly atmosphere at Hardin Medical Center.
The Surgical/Medical Services, located on the 2nd floor of the hospital, is referred to as the Annex.
Telemetry Care Unit TLC
Our Telemetry unit, the Kate Smith Irvin Memorial Unit, features a state-of-the-art telemetry monitoring system provided by funds from Ms. Irvin's estate.Telemetry offers services to patients that are acutely ill, requiring and benefiting from more compresensive nursing care.
Obstetrics
The nurses on our obstetrical (OB) unit will help you welcome your new baby into the world, working with your physician to provide quality care for you and your newborn. We want this special time to be perfect for all our mothers-to-be, and we'll provide that personal touch.
Our newly refurbished O.B. unit includes three labor-delivery-recovery rooms. One room is dedicated to C-Section deliveries. The unit also has eight Post-Partum beds and a Centralized Level 1 Newborn Nursery with eight basinettes.
