SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Port of Excellence (POE) is an initiative of HMC designed to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. The “Service Excellence” journey through Port of Excellence began in April of 2004 and has truly impacted the way HMC serves Hardin County and the surrounding areas. The Commitment to Excellence began with a Board of Directors and a CEO that believed HMC was a “good” facility, but knew it could become a “very good” facility.

The techniques, tools, and behaviors encouraged by POE achieve results for goals placed under Six Pillars of Performance: People, Service, Quality, Finance, Growth, and Community. The setting of goals keeps the HMC Staff focused. Although the priorities are varied, the common denominator is always the satisfaction of our patients with the care they receive. The staff of HMC has a purpose, does worthwhile work, and makes a difference in the lives of people each day. We value the feedback of the people we serve and receive it through a number of different surveys given to our patients and phone calls made by our staff.

If as an HMC customer you ever feel your expectations of service have not been met, please call Eric Jones at 926-8383 to let us know. You may also email us at ejones@hardinmedical.com.

Remember our Commitment to Excellence is for you!
