Cardiologist Dr. Ven Nethala, FACC, joins Hardin Medical Center

Begins practicing in the newly named clinic Tennessee River Cardiology



SAVANNAH, TN—September 9 – Hardin Medical Center (HMC) and Tennessee River Physician Services announces Cardiologist Dr. Ven Nethala, a fellow with the American College of Cardiology, has joined HMC as an employee physician. Dr. Nethala has over 30 years of experience and is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Nethala completed his internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. He completed another fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Winthrop University Hospital in New York. Dr. Nethala's successful internship was completed at King George Hospital in India.


Dr. Nethala’s most recently worked at Rutherford Regional Health in North Carolina, where he was the Chest Pain Center Director. Throughout his career, he has practiced as an invasive cardiologist at Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota and was the cath lab director at The Aroostook Medical Center in Maine. Dr. Nethala's impressive career began in private practice in New Hampshire as an invasive/interventional cardiologist.
