Job Description

Title of the Open Position: 

Quality Coordinator

Infection Preventionist

Full-Time 

Minimum Qualification Requirements:


Education:
Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.

A similar degree from another healthcare-related field acceptable.

Bachelor's or more advanced degree preferred.


Work Experience:
2  years of recent clinical/nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings.

​

Strongly Preferred:

2 or more years of experience in infection control/prevention within the acute care setting.

1 year or more of experience in Quality/Patient Safety in the acute care setting.

Experience with CMS Inpatient and Outpatient reporting requirements, processes, and programs

via QNet/HARP, etc.

​

Proficiency in the following applications/systems:

Cerner Community Works (EHR)

PolicyStat-(Policy/Document/Contract Management Software)

Press Ganey High Reliability Platform (HPR) - (Event Reporting Tool)

​

License and Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Certification in Infection Control (CIC)

CPPS and/or CPHQ
