Understanding Your Healthcare Charges

At Hardin Medical Center, the charges listed on our website are rarely the final amount a patient pays.

Your actual financial responsibility depends on many factors, including the services you receive, your length of stay, your insurance coverage, and any applicable discounts. Hospital charges are often reduced through Medicare and Medicaid adjustments, negotiated insurance rates, financial assistance programs, and uninsured discounts.

After these adjustments are applied, your health plan determines any deductible, copayment, or coinsurance amounts you may owe.

Below are links to Hardin Medical Center's procedure charge listings, pricing information, and machine-readable file (MRF+).

For questions about charges, insurance coverage, financial assistance, or estimated out-of-pocket costs, please contact the HMC Billing Department at 731-926-8309.

Important: The information available on this page includes hospital charges only. You may receive separate bills from physicians or specialty providers, such as primary care physicians, emergency department physicians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, pathologists, or other specialists involved in your care.

As a courtesy, Hardin Medical Center will bill your insurance company on your behalf. After your claim is processed, you will receive information regarding any remaining balance for which you are responsible.

Please note that some physician groups may not participate with your insurance plan. In those cases, you may be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance.
