It is with deep appreciation and sincere gratitude that we announce the upcoming retirement of Dr. Richard Greene, who will conclude his general surgery practice at Hardin Medical Center in mid-summer.

Dr. Greene has been an integral part of both our medical center and the Hardin County community for many decades. His outstanding surgical expertise, steady presence, and compassionate approach to patient care have served generations of families who entrusted him with their general surgery needs. His impact on this community is immeasurable.

In 2023, Dr. Greene became an employee of Hardin Medical Center, continuing his long tradition of excellence and dedication to our patients. Throughout his career, he has remained a trusted physician, a valued colleague, and a beloved member of our HMC family.

While we will miss his daily presence, leadership, and unwavering commitment, we celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. Dr. Greene is admired by all who work with him and cherished by the countless patients whose lives he has touched.

More details regarding Dr. Greene’s practice transition will be shared as we approach his official retirement date. Hardin Medical Center will also host a Retirement Celebration in his honor.
